Hello again! Today was a busy day of sightseeing, consisting of a bus tour, riverside pub lunch, and walking tour of various spots in London. I'm not really going to say much here due to the large amount of pictures, so be sure to read the captions!

The London Eye. My family stayed at the Marriot Hotel right next to it when I came here when I was 9....It's certainly good to be back!

The Tate Britain, the oldest gallery in the Tate network of art galleries.

Westminster Abbey. One of the most famous churches in London, and the world.

Trafalgar Square, commemorating the Battle of Trafalgar in 1805.

Looks like a movie was being filmed in Piccadilly Circus.

The Shard, the tallest building in the European Union.

St. Paul's Cathedral, another famous church.

Sir Christopher Wren, the man responsible for rebuilding London after the Great Fire of 1666, once lived here.

Buckingham Palace. We were lucky enough to catch the changing of the guards!

The Founders Arms, the pub we enjoyed our riverside lunch at.

Who could resist Fish and Chips?

The Globe Theater....or at least the "new" Globe Theater.

Tower Bridge, probably the most iconic bridge in the world.

We ended up really having a great day, despite the weather being somewhat cold. It's nice to hang out with good friends from BC, like Dave and Danielle, and have a tour of London our first week here. I will certainly be going back to many of the places we've visited today, as well as try to see other sights we may have missed. I'm not sure what I'll do later this evening, but for now, I think I'll just relax.
