Jan 15: Quiet Tuesday

This was an incredible meal.
I'll keep today's post short because, well, today was pretty quiet. I had a Banking and Finance in Economic Development Lecture, which was pretty interesting since we talked a lot about issues that countries with shared currency (like those in the EU for example) can run into by not being able to control their monetary policy, resulting in limited fiscal policy action. This can result in serious financial problems if a country isn't careful. From the perspective given today, it makes sense for the UK to trade on the British Pound rather than the Euro for precisely this reason (and it was certainly made clear in class today).

Afterwards, I did some reading and preparation for tomorrow, watched some TV on my computer, and Katie was nice enough to prepare us both Sweet'n'Sour Chicken with Vegetables and Rice. One of the best meals either one of use has ever made, easily. It was quite a nice meal, and it was fun to have a (very small) part in making it.

I'm also trying to figure out where to travel to, whether its around London or somewhere in Europe for this semester. If you have any ideas, be sure to toss them my way!

I have one tutorial tomorrow (for Advanced Economic Analysis), but I also have some stuff I need to get done at the library. Hopefully my first "real" tutorial session goes well. Eitherway, I'll be sure to let you know all about it!

Til then - Cheers!
