Jan 16: Let's Pizza

I would be honored to Pizza with you.

Today was sort of a failure. I unfortunately read my schedule wrong and a tutorial session that would meet today at 2pm (in the first semester, "Term 1") actually meets Friday at 9am this term, "Term 2". So much for no classes on Fridays!

The big highlight of another somewhat slow day here was how I "made" my lunch. There is this awesome pizza machine called "Let's Pizza". I'm sure they exist in the US somewhere, but I have never seen one before. It's basically an all-in-one machine that takes dough, sauce, cheese, and choices of toppings to make a pizza in under 3 min. I didn't think it could be done so I wanted to try it myself. Enjoy this great video of me experiencing the glory of "Let's Pizza" (the person I am with is my friend Allegra).

I thought my Dad would enjoy this.
There was also a club fair going on around lunchtime, so I checked out a few clubs and eventually decided to subscribe to SOAS Spirit, a weekly email of articles written by students.

Later, Katie made some mac and cheese from scratch for us to eat for dinner. It turned out to be really great. It's pretty fun to be making/assisting in making my own meals here. I need to diversify my cooking abilities and this is a good way to practice.

The rest of the evening I have been reading for class, catching up on important world events, and preparing for 6 hours of class time tomorrow (3 blocked in the morning, 3 blocked in the afternoon). Wish me luck!

Til then - Cheers!
